I am Amanamabasi Akpan — a Data & Business Intelligence Analyst by day, and a digital educator helping beginners build AI-powered businesses.
Two Lanes, One Road
I do not fit neatly into one box — and I stopped trying to. Here is how I split my time and energy:
I build data warehouses, design dashboards, and turn messy operational data into executive-ready insights. SQL, Power BI, Python, Azure — these are my tools. My current work at Advance Careers UK involves tracking student acquisition funnels, campaign ROI, and enrollment trends across multiple data sources.
I run The Weekend Workshop — a live 2-day program where I teach complete beginners how to use AI to build and sell digital products. No expertise needed. No audience required. Hundreds of students have gone from zero to their first sale using this system.
I use AI as a force multiplier — not a replacement. From generating marketing content to designing digital products to automating reporting workflows, I am obsessed with finding the intersection where AI meets practical output.
I build tools, dashboards, and resources and share them openly. My SQL Builder tool, presentation apps, and cheat sheets are all free resources I have created to lower the barrier for beginners entering tech and data.
What People Say
Real feedback from real people who have learned, built, and grown with me.
Amanam made SQL feel like common sense. I went from zero to building my first dashboard in two weeks. His teaching style cuts through the noise.
The Weekend Workshop changed everything for me. I launched my first digital product and made my first sale within 48 hours. The system actually works.
I have taken many online courses, but none compare to the clarity and actionable steps Amanam provides. His Power BI tutorials saved me months of trial and error.

The Path Here
A non-linear path from Urban Planning to Data Analysis to Digital Education — each step teaching me something the previous one could not.
Started self-learning SQL and Excel while working in marketing. Realized data was my true calling.
Built and deployed my first Power BI dashboard at Thesaurus Gardens. The moment everything clicked.
Started creating data tutorials to help others avoid the mistakes I made. The audience grew faster than expected.
Created a live 2-day program teaching beginners to build and sell digital products with AI. Hundreds of students enrolled.
Reached nearly 700K across platforms. Built tools, launched resources, and kept teaching in public.
Scaling The Weekend Workshop, building more free tools, and helping the next wave of data professionals and creators.

How I Think
The beliefs that guide every project, every workshop, every dashboard I build.
The best data visualization is the one your CEO understands in 3 seconds. The best tutorial is the one that makes a beginner feel capable. I optimize for clarity, always.
I do not teach concepts in isolation. Every workshop, every dashboard, every piece of content is designed to produce a tangible outcome — a finished product, a working report, a real decision.
SQL, Python, AI — they are just tools. The real skill is knowing which tool to use, when, and why. I teach the thinking behind the tooling, not just the syntax.
Beyond The Numbers
What those big stats actually mean for the people behind them.
Students and learners from Nigeria, UK, US, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, India, and beyond have used my resources.
Total digital product revenue generated by Weekend Workshop alumni since the program launched.
The median time for a complete beginner to go from "I do not know SQL" to "I built my first dashboard."
The Toolkit
The stack I use to turn questions into answers — and answers into action.
Credentials
Formal validation of the skills I use every day. I believe in learning publicly and credibly.
